Dacomitinib is a type of EGFR inhibitor that’s been made for people with NSCLC who have specific gene changes in the EGFR called 19 deletion or L858R mutation. This med blocks EGFR signals, which in turn helps to stop the cancer from growing. You can get Dacomitinib in three strengths—15 mg, 30 mg, and 45 mg—all in tablet form with a coating.
The suggested dose to really make a difference is to take 45 mg of it every day. Each bottle comes with 30 tablets of the stuff.
