Erdafitinib is a special inhibitor used for treating advanced urothelial cancer, which often has changes in the FGFR2/3 genes. It works by stopping the FGFR pathway. The medicine is in tablet form with three strengths: 3 mg, 4 mg, and 5 mg.
You usually take 8 mg a day, but sometimes it can go up to 9 mg if needed. Each bottle has 56 tablets to make sure you take it as you should over your treatment. Your doctor will tell you how much to take, and they’ll consider the tumor and how well you handle the drug.
