Ivosidenib is a medicine made to help people who’ve already tried other treatments and have a type of cancer called AML. This cancer is caused by a mutation in a gene called IDH1. It’s a special kind of treatment that fights cancer by blocking a faulty protein called IDH1, which helps stop cancer cells from multiplying.
The medicine comes as tablets that are coated and each one has 250 milligrams. You’re supposed to take 500 milligrams, one pill each day. The tablets come in bottles that have 60 in each.
