Futibatinib is an inhibitor of the FGFR (that’s the FGF Receptor). It’s especially good at dealing with cholangiocarcinoma that has FGFR2 fusions. The pill works by stopping FGFR signaling.
That’s a key process in how cholangiocarcinoma forms. It’s a tablet, like 4 mg each. The doc usually recommends 20 mg per day for adults.
These tablets come in bottles, usually 28 in each. You need to take five pills to get to the 20 mg dose.
