Adagrasib is made for treating a type of lung cancer called NSCLC, which is caused by something called KRAS G12C mutations. It works by keeping the KRAS G12C protein from doing its thing, which is helping cancer cells grow in people with this specific change in their lung cancer. The medicine comes in 200 mg tablet form.
You’re supposed to take 600 mg of the stuff twice a day, so that’s two pills each time. That adds up to 1200 mg a day. The tablets can be taken with or without food, and the product is available in bottles containing 180 tablets.
Your doc will decide how long you take it and how much you get.
