Erlotinib is a therapy targeted at lung and pancreatic cancers caused by EGFR mutations. It’s all about dealing with that specific receptor. The drug works by keeping that EGFR thing in check, which in turn messes up the signal that makes tumors grow.
You can get Erlotinib in three strengths: 25 milligrams, 100 milligrams, and 150 milligrams, all in those coated tablets. You usually take 150 milligrams of this stuff every day, on an empty belly. The tablets come in bottles with 30 in each.
It’s super handy for taking and sticking to the treatment.
