Pirtobrutinib is a type of inhibitor that zeroes in on something called Bruton’s Tyrosine Kinase, or BTK. BTK is like a player in B-cell receptor signaling games. It’s mainly used to deal with things like mantle cell lymphoma and Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia.
You can get it in 50mg or 100mg pills. The usual dose is 200mg a day. The tablets come in bottles with 60 pills each.
It seems like Pirtobrutinib can tweak how BTK works in B-cell cancers, which helps stop these diseases from getting worse or starting.
