Tucatinib is used for treating HER2-positive breast cancer, especially when there are brain tumors too. It blocks this HER2 protein, which can cause cancer cells to grow or spread. You can get it in 2 doses—either 50 mg or 150 mg as film-coated tablets.
The suggested dose is 300 mg taken twice a day with meals. The pills come in bottles, with 60 in each one. What makes the medicine work is it blocks this HER2 thingy, helping cancer cells shrink back down.
You gotta take these with some food to help ’em work right.
