This drug, called Erlotinib, is used to treat two types of cancer: NSCLC and pancreatic cancer, particularly when these have EGFR mutations. It works by stopping a process called EGFR signaling. You’ve got options for dosages—25, 100, or 150 milligrams—each as a film-coated pill.
Doctors usually recommend 150 milligrams a day, unless your stomach is empty, of course. It comes in bottles, each holding 30 tablets.
