Momelotinib is a med that’s made to help with myelofibrosis and anemia. It helps shrink your spleen and cut down on inflammation. It blocks two enzymes, JAK1 and JAK2.
It’s available in two strengths: 100 mg and 200 mg. The usual dose is 200 mg, taken just once a day. You can get the med in bottles with 30 pills in each.
It’s a pill you swallow to deal with the symptoms of myelofibrosis. You can take it with or without eating. Just don’t break, crush, or chew it up.
