Tucatinib is made for helping with breast cancer, specifically when it’s HER2-positive and has gone to the brain. It’s what we call a HER2 inhibitor. It works by stopping the HER2 pathway.
You’re supposed to take it at 300 mg, two times a day with your meals. The tablets have two strengths: you can get 300 mg by taking two 150 mg ones or six 50 mg tablets. This stuff comes in bottles with 60 film-coated tablets each.
Make sure you don’t break, chew, or split the tablets—just take them whole.
