Gefitinib is an inhibitor. It’s mainly used to treat NSCLC. This drug especially targets EGFR mutations.
These mutations include the ones found in exon 19 deletions and exon 21 L858R mutations. This drug works by blocking the EGFR signaling pathway. The drug comes in tablet form, film-coated, and each one is 250 mg.
You usually take it at 250 mg once per day, and you can do it either with food or not. These tablets are put into bottles with 30 tablets inside each.
