Elacestrant is a type of cancer drug that specifically targets estrogen receptor-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer. It works by disrupting estrogen receptor signaling. That’s what helps certain breast cancer cells keep growing.
You get two doses of it, 86 milligrams and 345 milligrams. They’re both film-coated tablets, though. The usual prescription is 345 milligrams, but you take it once every day with meals.
