Entrectinib is an inhibitor for TRK, ROS1, and ALK. It focuses on solid tumors with NTRK fusion and ROS1-positive NSCLC. It’s designed to block several kinases at once.
You can get it in 100mg or 200mg capsules. The usual amount is 600mg a day, and it doesn’t matter if you take it with or without food. Each bottle comes with 30 capsules.
They give you specific advice based on your cancer type or if you have an NTRK fusion or ROS1 mutation in your tumor. Taking more than 600mg a day doesn’t make it any better. It’s been tested in different studies, and it seems safe and effective for the people it’s meant for.
It’s used to treat NTRK-fusion or ROS1 fusion cancer, but not for lung cancer that has come back or won’t respond to regular treatments. Be careful, because it can cause side effects like swelling, upset stomach, low blood count, cough, and constipation, which might mean you need to change how you’re taking it.
