Binimetinib is a MEK enzyme inhibitor. It’s mainly for melanoma patients with BRAF V600E or V600K mutations. It’s meant to be taken together with a drug called encorafenib.
Binimetinib is in tablet form. Each tablet has 15 mg of the active stuff. Doctors usually suggest adults take 45 mg of this stuff, twice a day.
The tablets come in bottles with 84 of them in each. Binimetinib works by stopping a key signal in melanoma, especially in people with BRAF mutations. Your doc will figure out the right dose for you based on how you’re doing and your health needs.
