Belzutifan is a type of medicine that blocks something called HIF-2. It’s used to treat kidney cancer that’s tied to something called VHL. It works by lessening the signals that cancer cells use to deal with low oxygen.

You can get this as film-coated tablets that are 40 mg each. Doctors usually suggest taking 120 mg of it every day, just one pill. One bottle has 90 of these tablets.

It works by shutting down HIF-2, this is a protein that helps cells cope with not having enough oxygen – something that’s really common in cancers. By doing this, it’s supposed to slow down cancer growth and spread for people with VHL-related kidney cancer.
