Pemigatinib is a type of inhibitor that focuses on FGFR proteins. It’s especially good at tackling cholangiocarcinoma, a kind of cancer, when there’s a FGFR2 fusion involved. It blocks the FGFR signaling process.
You can get these tablets in three different strengths: 4.5, 9, or 13.5 milligrams. Doctors usually suggest adults take 13.5 mg of this stuff every day for 14 days at a time, over a 21-day period. After finishing each 14-day dose, you’ve got a 7-day break.
