Pemigatinib is an inhibitor that goes after the FGFR, also known as the Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor. It’s really good at dealing with FGFR2 fusions, which are pretty common in cholangiocarcinomas. It comes in tablet form and you’ve got three different strengths: 4.5 mg, 9 mg, and 13.5 mg.
The dose they usually recommend is 13.5 mg, taken every day. You’ll be on this cycle for 21 days, with 14 days of taking the med and then 7 days off. Each pack has 14 tablets, so you’ll have enough for a full cycle right in one bottle.
