How much Praseltinib per daily dose?

Praseltinib is a type of pill that’s used to treat certain lung cancers and thyroid cancers where there’s a RET fusion. RET fusion, by the way, is a term for a specific type of genetic change that happens in cancer cells. It works by blocking something called RET kinase.

RET kinase is what fuels the growth of those cancer cells with RET fusion. You can get it as capsules, and each one has 100 milligrams. The normal dose for adults is 400 milligrams, taken once a day on an empty tummy.

Each bottle has 60 capsules, and that’s usually enough for about 20 days of treatment.
