Ivosidenib is a targeted therapy for AML with IDH1 mutations. So, it’s an IDH1 inhibitor. It blocks the mutated enzyme and stops cancer cells from multiplying.
You can get it as 250 mg film-coated tablets. You should take 500 mg once a day, by mouth. Each bottle holds 60 tablets.
It’s used for AML that comes back or doesn’t respond to treatment, especially if there are IDH1 mutations. You’ve got to follow your doc’s orders when taking it.
