Asciminib is this BCR-ABL inhibitor thing. It’s specifically made for CML patients who’ve tried other stuff and it didn’t work. It’s like it zero in on this thing called the ABL myristoyl pocket.
The pill comes in two sizes: a 20 mg deal and a 40 mg one, both in these coated-up tablets. They usually say to take 80 mg a day, but you can split it and take 40 mg two times a day if you want. Asciminib comes in bottles, each holding 60 of those tablets.
The tablets are made so they give you a regular dose and do their job with managing CML.
