Selumetinib is a special kind of drug that’s made to target MEK. It’s for adults who have plexiform neurofibromas that are painful or really hinder their movement. These types of neurofibromas are linked to a condition called Neurofibromatosis Type 1.
You take it as capsules, and they come in two strengths: 10 mg or 25 mg of the main stuff. You should take the 25 mg dose twice a day, but on an empty stomach, too. They give you these in bottles, and each one holds 60 capsules.
