Afatinib is an inhibitor targeting EGFR and HER2, used specifically for Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) with EGFR exon 19 deletions or exon 21 L858R mutations. It works by keeping EGFR signaling at bay. You got three dosages to choose from: 20, 30, or 40 milligrams, and they’re all in these film-coated tablets.
The doc usually recommends 40 mg a day, and it’s best taken on an empty belly. These pills come in bottles, each with 30 tablets.
