Capivasertib is an AKT inhibitor designed for treating HR /HER2breast cancer patients with PIK3CA/AKT1/PTEN genetic alterations. It goes after this thing called AKT signaling and tries to stop it. You can get this drug in two doses: 200 milligrams and 400 milligrams.
The doc usually says to take 400 mg of this stuff, two times a day. You take it for four days straight, then you got a three-day break. It comes in bottles with 64 pills in each.
The point of this treatment is to mess with the signals inside cancer cells that are all wonky because of these mutations.
