So, pemigatinib is this special kind of medicine that’s meant to help with a type of cancer called cholangiocarcinoma. It deals with this cancer especially when there’s this thing called FGFR2 fusion. It functions by blocking FGFR signaling, and is available in three tablet strengths of 4.5 mg, 9 mg, and 13.5 mg.
You’re supposed to take the 13.5 milligram dose every day for two weeks every three weeks. Each box has 14 tablets of that 13.5 milligram strength. They’re made so you take them without a break throughout your treatment.
Just make sure you go by what your doctor tells you about how and when to take the medication.
