Sofosbuvir is this pill with a coating that’s used to treat Hepatitis C. It inhibits this thing called NS5B polymerase, which is a key enzyme for the HCV to replicate. Each pill has 400 mg of the key stuff, and you’re supposed to take one a day.
People usually take it with other meds to really get the virus in check. The pills come in bottles, and each bottle has 28 of them. The plan is mostly tailored to each person’s HCV and how they react to it, and you’re supposed to eat right too, as the doc says.
You gotta keep the pills in the original bottle and somewhere cool and dry.
