Ponatinib is a TKI that goes after BCR-ABL, PDGFRA, KIT, and EGFR kinases. It’s used for CML that doesn’t respond to or can’t handle other TKIs, and also for Ph ALL. It is available as film-coated tablets in 15 mg and 45 mg strengths, with the recommended dose being 45 mg taken once daily, regardless of food intake.
You take it by mouth. It comes in bottles, each with 30 tablets.
