Lorlatinib is a third-generation inhibitor. It’s made for people with ALK-positive metastatic non-small cell lung cancer. It goes after the ALK and ROS1 kinases.
These are really important for making tumors grow. You can get Lorlatinib in two doses: 25 mg and 100 mg. They come in these tablets with a film coating.
The usual amount to take is 100 mg each day. You can take it with or without food. Each bottle has 30 tablets.
Lorlatinib is one of those really strong ALK and ROS1 inhibitors. It’s used when other ALK inhibitors don’t work anymore. That means it really likes the kinases it’s aiming for and works super well at stopping tumor growth without causing too many side effects.
These film-coated tablets are actually pretty good because they taste better and don’t bother your stomach as much.
