Tivozanib 1.34mg, $300 per Bottle

This drug, Tivozanib, blocks some specific receptors and it’s used to treat a type of cancer that’s spread widely, known as advanced RCC. It works by stopping the growth of blood vessels that feed tumors, which in turn cuts off their blood and slows down their growth. There are two strengths for Tivozanib capsules: 890 micrograms and 1.34 milligrams.

Doctors usually suggest taking 1.34 mg every day for 21 days straight. Then you have a week off to rest before you start a new 28-day cycle. The capsules are taken either with or without meals and each bottle has 21 of them.
