Filgotinib, a JAK1 inhibitor, is used to treat moderate to severe cases of rheumatoid arthritis. It changes how your immune system works by blocking the signals of this enzyme, JAK1. This enzyme is linked to inflammation.
You’re supposed to take filgotinib at 200 mg, just one time each day. You can get filgotinib in 100 mg and 200 mg tablets. The 200 mg is what you should take.
Each bottle comes with 30 filgotinib tablets. It mainly works by keeping a protein called IL-6 from sending signals. This protein is really important for rheumatoid arthritis.
Clinical trials show that it helps a lot. It helps with the disease moving forward and less joint pain and swelling.
