Larotrectinib is an investigational selective inhibitor designed to target the proteins TRKA, TRKB, and TRKC, which are overexpressed in certain types of solid tumors due to gene fusions involving NTRK genes. So, this drug, like others in the TRK inhibitors group, is being looked at for treating all sorts of cancers. You can get it as pills with 25 or 100 milligrams of the main stuff, or as a liquid with 20 milligrams in a tablespoon.
For adults, they usually recommend taking 100 mg of it twice a day, but for kids, it’s dose depending on how big they are. You get it in a bottle of 60 pills.
