Praseltinib is made to block the RET kinase, mainly used for treating lung and thyroid cancers where there’s a RET-fusion. You get it in 100 mg capsules. You’re supposed to take 400 mg of it each day, one pill only.
Make sure you take the capsules on an empty stomach so they work best. Each bottle has 60 capsules. As a RET inhibitor, it’s really important.
It messes with the RET proto-oncogene by binding to its kinase domain and stopping the RET pathway from making tumors grow. The capsules are meant for one dose a day. They’re set up that way so everyone takes them the same way.
