Ribociclib is a type of medicine that helps with breast cancer that’s labeled HR /HER2-positive. It acts like a CDK4/6 inhibitor, which means it stops cells from moving to the next part of their cycle. It comes in these little 200 mg pills that are all covered with a coating.
You’re supposed to take it in doses of 600 mg, and you do this every day. You take it for 21 days in every 28-day period. Each package comes with 63 tablets, all tucked into those little blister things.
