Praseltinib is this special kind of medication made just for people with certain kinds of lung cancer and thyroid cancer, the type where RET has been fused. Adults are supposed to take 400 milligrams once each day, on an empty stomach so the stuff can really soak in. The capsules come in these bottles, with each one holding 60 capsules. The idea behind this dosing thing is to keep that RET kinase thingy under control, slow the tumor cells down, and maybe, just maybe, give the patient a better chance of living longer.
