Ponatinib is a type of medication that targets the BCR-ABL protein, mainly used for people with CML or Ph ALL who’ve already tried other kinase inhibitors without success. It sticks to lots of different kinases and is pretty good at dealing with those resistance things. The pill comes in two strengths: 15 mg and 45 mg.
You’re supposed to take 45 mg of the pill every day, and it’s okay to have it with or without food. Each bottle holds 30 of those 45 mg pills, so it’s a month’s worth if you’re taking it as suggested.
