Ribociclib is an inhibitor that targets CDK4/6 enzymes, which are crucial for cell cycle progression in HR /HER2breast cancer. It comes in the form of tablets with a coating. Each tablet has 200 mg of the main stuff.
You’re supposed to take 600 mg once a day. That’s three tablets. You do this for 21 days every month, but there’s a break after that.
The tablets come in packs with 63 tablets, so you’ve got enough for a full cycle. The idea is to keep using Ribociclib so it keeps stopping those CDK4/6 enzymes, messes up the cell division, and slows cancer down.
