Mobocertinib is a targeted EGFR inhibitor. It’s mainly used for lung cancer patients with certain exon 20 mutations. It works by focusing on a protein called EGFR, which helps stop cancer cells from growing.
You can take it in 40 mg capsules. You usually take 160 mg of it, one time a day, either with or without food. The medication usually comes in bottles, with 90 capsules in each.
The key ingredient is mobocertinib. It helps with specific lung cancer types, especially in cases where first-line treatments haven’t worked, or if other treatments aren’t bearable. Some common side effects include skin irritation, an upset stomach, and dryness of the mouth, but there are others too.
