Belzutifan is a type of drug called an HIF-2 pseudoinhibitor. It’s used to treat a certain type of kidney cancer linked to VHL. It works by helping to lower the effects of tumor hypoxia, which is when tumors aren’t getting enough oxygen.
The kind of pill it comes in is a coated tablet, and each one has 40 milligrams in it. The usual amount people take is 120 milligrams, just once every day. These are sold in bottles that hold 90 tablets.
