This drug, known as Tenofovir Alafenamide, is actually a nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor. It’s mainly used for treating chronic HBV and HIV. The way it works is by stopping a key enzyme (reverse transcriptase) needed by the virus to reproduce.
You can find it in these film-coated 25 mg tablets. The usual dose for grown-ups is one 25 mg pill per day, with food, you know. They come in bottles with 30 pills in one.
