Selumetinib is an MEK inhibitor used specifically for neurofibromatosis type 1, when there are plexiform neurofibromas with symptoms. It blocks MEK signaling, and you can get it in two strength options: 10 mg and 25 mg pills.
You’re supposed to take the 25 mg version twice a day on an empty stomach, like when you wake up and before dinner. Each bottle of the product has 60 capsules in it.
